Returns
Overview
- Return the new, unopened items to us within 14 calendar days of delivery.
- If you are returning an item email rma@microdirect.ca. We will respond with an RMA (return merchandise agreement) number, which must be included in the package. Without an RMA number, we cannot refund or replace the item
- For any product valued over $50.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
- Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.
- Please be considerate when placing your order to choose the correct size, colour, etc. of your product to avoid any returns for exchanges.
- Due to the custom made nature of some of our handmade products we can not accept returns/exchanges or offer refunds for any handmade item.
- Rejected or refused packages, abandoned packages, and packages returned outside of the designated return process (Please see above for designated return process) will result in a restocking fee of $15.00 US dollars.
To begin initiating a return, within 14 calendar days of delivery, contact us immediately to receive the code and instructions and then please return your item to our address below.

Terms & Conditions:
- We encourage customers to carefully read our Returns Policy and to please make sure all the items are eligible for return to avoid disappointment.
- We only provide store credit for items purchased on sale with a discount or discount code of 25% or more, from our full retail price.
- Due to the custom made nature of some of our handmade products we can not accept returns/exchanges or offer refunds for any handmade item.
- Refunds or store credit will be issued within 30 days from the date we receive your return at our return address (listed above).
- You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your order to initiate and return your item(s) for a refund or store credit. Any returns not made within this window will be rejected.
- Any product you return must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please keep the receipt.
- We provide a refund to your original payment method for all full-priced items.
- Exchanges are provided through store credit for eligible items only.
- We do not provide a return label or pay for returns shipping.
- Items must be in their brand-new, unused condition and original packaging to be eligible for a refund.
- Items returned to us that are not eligible for a refund or store credit will be discarded or sent back to you at your own expense at our discretion.
- All items purchased with a gift card or store credit are not eligible for return. Gift cards purchased and store credit issued by MicroDirect cannot be exchanged or refunded.
- All shipping charges and government taxes are non-refundable.
- Cancellations are only accepted for full-priced items, within 60 minutes after an order is placed. Please if you have to cancel your order for any reason reach out to us immediately at accounts@microdirect.ca if you are able to cancel within the given time frame. We process orders as quickly as possible so cancellations are time sensitive.
- The Terms & Conditions of our Returns Policy prevail in the case of miscommunication or otherwise.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
- Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, as quickly as we can.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at rma@microdirect.ca and we will send an RMA Number and address for the exchange Mark the RMA Number and the word Exchange and include it with the return.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
